2018年9月,在CELL期刊發表《甲羥戊酸通路是新的疫苗佐劑製藥靶點》的藥學研究論文🧖🏻‍♂️,並揭示詳細的分子機製。基於甲羥戊酸激酶缺乏症這一罕見病🧍🏻‍♂️,我們首次提出並證實甲羥戊酸通路是可以作為佐劑開發的代謝通路,作用於該通路的疫苗佐劑在小鼠流感、癌症模型中顯示出較現用鋁佐劑更好的保護效果。
